Surely it's just too good to be true though?

There's also the sneaky suspicion in my head that there will 10 bands on each day and so far all the bands other than Linkin Park (so 9 in total) are for the Metallica day.....meaning one big 'sub-headliner' tba for that day and as far as I remember the only time Tool played under anyone one the whole of the 10,000 Days tour they were supporting Metallica. I think i'm reading a bit too much into it there....

Anyhow I hope this announcement brings us NIN, Janes Addiction and Placebo, that would be awesome.

lets not forget Janes Addiction!

they need to announce something big with Downloads FNM announcement

am i the only one thinking the idea of tool is too good to be true?

i mean Tool, NIN, AIC, MH, Metallica & Placebo on the same bloody bill and no clashes??

The announcement soon definitely fits with NIN, as they've just (probably) finished announcing the rest of their US dates so Europe next. I can't decide how high up Jane's addiction would place though, they're surely not that popular compared to many on the bill?

Of course I could be incredibly optimistic based on current rumours and predict

Linkin Park

Nine Inch Nails

Placebo

Avenged Sevenfold

Alice in Chains

Jane's Addiction

Thin Lizzy

Metallica

Tool

Judas Priest

Bullet for My Valentine

Machine Head

Lamb of God

Mastodon

The order is a bit off there, but that combination of bands would tempt me massively.
