Doesn't look good - a whois (lookup of who owns the site) gives:

which basically means they dont want to tell you who they are!

doesn't even have a full postcode, and whilst a swish London W1 address is nice, a google shows they've got temporary premises from http://www.executiveoffices.co.uk/about/brand_corpnex/

Do whatever you can to get your money back, and ask us about the site *before* you buy next time :-)

Also no registered company number (required for a limited company - not a dealbreaker in itself, but anything more than a 1 or 2 man operation should be)

compare to

"Ticketmaster UK Limited Registration in England No. 2662632. "

and

"See is a registered trademark of See Group Ltd, Registered Office: Manor House, 21 Soho Sq, London, W1D 3QP. Registered in England No 6348619"

Which can be checked online against Company House records.

Why oh why oh why?????

If you are interested I have a load of slightly damaged four leaf clovers (one leaf is missing). I also have a genuine piece of merlins beard (looks like cat hair but is real honest) and a map showing you the exact co-ordinates of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Good stuff dans, glad you managed to stop the payment. Sorry for the abuse, but it happens every year. There are still tickets for Staffs in most websites (check on the V website for other official websites if the popular places like ticketmaster and See have run out).
