It'll be sold out by Sunday and then 6 weeks before V I will get phone calls from all the people who suddenly decide they would like some music and want to know if I have spares.

Bit weird you can buy 6 tickets this year though, last year was only 4 so should of sold out quicker.

Also remember credit crunch hits everything too.

I think its not sold out because people are so sick of getting ripped off.

The line up is poor (as ever) and every1 is saving there money for R&L this year.

Last year on these boards alot of people were unhappy about V for many rerasons and many said they'd do Glasto this year instead. Last year Glasto struggled to sell out and this year it's sold out months in advance. I think people are looking for a festival where they will not get ripped off and where the organisers actually provide sufficient toilets and bar staff, as well as a great festival.

Hopefully this will be the kick up the ass that the organisers need to sharpen up their act.

gotta say having been to leeds/t in the park and v

all have their good points

i bought tickets again for v as its a nice spacious site and you aren't crammed like sardines last year was a peice of nonsense though two reasons one i could only get drinks my girlfriend is 27 and got id'd everytime she doesn't even look particullary young and none us carry id

secondly waiting up to an hour in a toilet que is a disgrace actually seen one girl wet herself which to me is not really funny how to ruin someones festival

i'll give v one more chance see if they can get the toilet situation sorted can't be that hard its a huge site probably double the size of t in the park yet they have loads more toilets

Can't say I'm surprised.

Not surprised they increased the ticket numbers to 6 either. As I've eluded to before, if touts make the difference between a festival selling out and not selling out, they'll make it easier for touts snap more tickets up, knowing they haven't got a cat in hells chance of actually making a profit on them. So hey, it ain't all bad news.
