I love wayne. I can well believe arcade fire are utter pompous pricks. Some good tunes though

I think a lot of that is very sensationalised. Especially the stuff about their fans being treated badly. They sneaked a load of ticketless fans at a london show. Also I met some of them and they were really nice.

Win's post on arcadefire.net sheds a little more light. Sounds like he was starstruck.

I generally think it's a bad idea to publically attack someone on a kind of whim.

After reading what Wayne said and what Win said in response, Wayne comes off as a dick.

I'd rather a band had the balls to seriously throw themselves behind their music and come off pompous as a side effect than doing some w*nk album about robots.
