zahidf
From another post: 'Nine Inch Nails Likely For Leeds Festival 2009 Nine Inch Nails look likely for Leeds Festival 2009, after Virtual Festivals reported that the band are ‘close to signing an agreement.’ This came in the midst of rumours that this year there will be no heavy rock or metal acts headlining the main stage. Therefore we predict that they will most probably appear a little lower down the roster, or headline one of the tents. Most likely the Lock Up.' um, bit big for that tiny stage surely. Maybe they'll clash with the cure headlining the second stage as well...
benisright
What on earth has happened to virtual festivals, they used to at least be okay and now they are just complete toilet.
Bradders
No way will they headline the lock-up. If this is true though I imagine they'll headline the NME, which should appease fans moaning about all the indie.

Englishdragon
I have got Virtual festivals to post some shit over the years I have managed to have 3 front page *exclusives* on their website of shit that I made up in my head and emailed it to them. The best was a fake poster done in paint that I forwarded to them and they put in up claiming to have the leaked full poster seriously dont believe a word they say

Spiral_Low
I'll go with efestivals saying Janes Addiction are gonna play sonisphere over a post from some random guy saying there not..... As for NIN at Reading...I doubt it but shall wait and see.
inspectedinspector
Who works for the Sun newspaper? What? I don't understand how drivel like that get exclusives... especially about pretty alternative bands. I know its not concrete but they've been right before about stuff this year I think... Spiral_Low
Ah so Janes Addiction may or not be bplaying Sonisphere. Hmmm. Guess i'll have to start paying attention to the Reading line up then.
Jackson Maniac
While i still doubt they'll play (cause i don't want to get too excited by the prospect) here's something to mull over. the guy on the nine inch nails forum has taken back his statement and said he might be wrong, even though he was apparently at some sun press conference or something where they were announced, so he sounds like he's lying. however a quick look at the sonisphere webpage alludes to some uk exclusivity then states "As if more incentive is needed, this is the only Sonisphere festival in Europe that NIN are playing and therefore the only chance to see them alongside METALLICA" so who knows, i suppose there's a slight chance. Although i kinda wish someone would kill this rumour once and for all. Edited March 9, 2009 by Jackson Maniac
