It's a shame I missed ol Wino last year, I would have quite liked to have seen her ( ) (fell asleep at tent, long story). I heard she was complete comedy, quite the car crash set .

Oh, I saw the second half of her set at chelms, she was brilliantly awful. quite the experience.

I saw the whole of Wino, well not all as she came on about 30mins late but in that time it sounded like you were drowning a cat

Id like to see Vampire weekend there, but id probly miss them as weve planned mostly mainstage both days, it'll just make the bill look even better.

I just hope we saw more lesser-known indie bands in the future announcements, vampire weekend of course and some ones that i know probably wont be playing such as.. friendly fires, fleet foxes, florence and the machine, tv on the radio, the kills etc etc would be great. Though V tends to go for the more commerical acts, thats not a critisicm btw, it is what it is!

Yea some more indie bands would be nice. Very "Party in the Park" so far

The Union and sessions tents tend to make up the majority of the indie acts so that should even things out a bit.

We tend to spend alot of time in the Union tent actually, they get some really good acts in there.

Its actually quite shocked when you look at the Union and Sessions at the time and you think who? But then you look back afterwards and think oh did they play V already, I'd never heard of them then!

like last year the sessions stage had Iglu and Hartly, Gary Go, One Eskimo, VV Brown

2007 the sessions stage had The Script, The Ting Tings, Newton Faulkner, Amy MacDonald, Sam Beeton, Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong and Scouting For Girls

Some of those have gone out to sell SHIT loads of records but at the time they were nobodies

wonder who will will get in there this year and who will go on to make it big, if there IS a sessions stage this year, theres been no mention of it so far, hope its back

Yeah i wondered whether they might not have it this year, didn't it say on the ad over 50 more acts to be announced? That made me wonder, as i'd have thought it'd be more if they still had to fill all 5 stages/tents. 50+ usually means around 50 rather than 70 else they'd say 70+

It's true though, there have been some great acts there. I remember trying to see Newton Faulkner and it was rammed. Good to get some real up and coming bands out there.

Thats what made me think as well, only 50 more bands, to be honest though, it would be a bit of a piss take, putting the money up again and taking away the 24 acts they had in there last year, im sure these acts don't get paid much
