Hi, my names Jon and ive never been to a music festival before and really wanna go Reading, however my mates cannot afford it (claim they cannot afford it) and say they cant go, I am desperate to go Reading, and wanted to know if anyone would let me tag along with them at Reading if they're going, I know it sounds like Im a right loser and I probably am, I'll be 16 then, so preferably near my age ish, If anyone does feel sympathetic drop me an email on halsemeister@gmail.com im desperate

And if it makes you feel any better my mate went in 2007 on his own and had a great time. You're also bound to meet people to hang around with if you go looking for it. But being 16 you're quite young so I wouldn't recommend it. (Not meaning to be patronising).

I went on my own last year and I was 16, I still had a good time and met some cool people to hang around with

Maybe you can ask any of your friends if they can afford a day ticket or something?

dude just go, you'll make friends on the way into the campsite.... just pitch ur tent somewhere and go chat with ur neighbours, you'll have a laugh no worries.

not sure id want to go on my own at 16 , just my opinion
