Ticket price

Holy crap, I am used to inflated ticket prices - and Sonisphere is really expensive considering its only a 2 day event, but £11.50 BOOKING FEE PER TICKET? This is taking the piss a bit isn't it?

It means that to camp for the weekend is going to cost a total of more than £170. How can they justify £11.50? I'm still probably going to go, but if you think for that price you could go to Glastonbury or Roskilde or whatever and enjoy a 4-5 day festival with multiple stages, comedy, bands etc etc it puts it in perspective. Normally a booking fee is only a few quid isn't it?

It has? I've never seen a booking fee that stupidly big in my life. It pisses me off when we are also charged for the 'privilege' of camping too.

It's a way to increase the ticket price more than they could otherwise get away with.

If exchange rates get anywhere near 2007/8 levels I won't be going to any UK festivals next year. Much better value on the continent, even after travel expenses it works out pretty close price wise.
