Yes rage were the one that came to mind as a band that didnt chart massively in the uk but i suspect they are a band whos old albums have contiued to sell after release. They have always had this huge hype around them. I dont think a soad reunion could generate that hype. Hey very few reunions could.

I don't get it that when a small band gets publicity, some people on this site feel the need to slate them .

I mean I don't have a problem if you don't like them as are a lot of bands that I don't like/bore me. I don't like bands like Slipknot and Avenge Sevenfold, but I don't feel the need to have a go about them every time they are mentioned.

It's nothing like that.

It's that Pendulum seem to be classed as a band everyone should like, and if they don't they're just being close-minded. Emphasising how ridiculous Slipknot are would be pointless, as SURELY everyone who likes them has come to terms with the fact that they're a joke of a band.

And hell, I'm nowhere near devoted enough to 'have a go' whenever someone says 'Pendulum'. If I were to slate them every time they were mentioned I'd end up doing nothing else. But 'Pendulum aren't as good as people seem to think' was already being discussed, and I'm happy to take the opportunity to express my rejection of their status.

Also... Are Pendulum really that small? They've been pretty popular for a few years now.
