Easy Star All Stars

When efestivals asked Easy Star All Stars on twitter whether they were playing Avalon or Jazzworld, they replied saying that we would have a "nice surprise".

They could just play Jazzworld like expected but I'm thinking maybe an unexpected slot on the Pyramid Stage...? They aren't mainstream but the songs they play (Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Beatles covers) are well known, and bands like Gogol Bordello have played the Pyramid Stage.

What do people think?

Finally gor round to buying Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band. Awesome. Big grin all over my face. Ran my fingers through my dreads indeed .....

you think?

To me, it has nowhere near the thought-thru depth that DSOTM did - it sounds like they've decided to do those reggae covers, and have gone into the studio and just done them in one take without a lot of thought.

In my opinion it is the best because the original album is my favourite. DubSOTM might be the most creative but I think DarkSOTM is really boring.

Sgt Pepper and OK Computer I like almost equally but alot of the songs on Radiodread don't work as reggae. Dub Band is probably the least creative of the lot but I think the most enjoyable.
