so in a few weeks the mad rush for tickets will all be on again,

but you you think it will sell out so quick this year? V didnt sell out, im pretty sure you can still buy tickets for the staffs site.

anyways, anyone know how much weekend tickets are for Reading? plus the transaction fees and all that bollox!

tbh i see R&L as probably the only fest that will sell out quickly this year. it is probably the most popular. and i'm going to go with a controversial one here.

its popular with groups of people who won't have been affected by the credit crunch as much as most, london kids who get a good bit of money for the ticket from they're parents. not having a dig, just saying.

i wouldn't expect to see tickets going for the silly money they were last year tho. just before QOTSA i saw a guy buy a ticket froma tout for £500 without even flinching, he still had a few hundred pounds cash in his hand, which i can only believe he expected to spend on the ticket, crazy boy!

i wasn't a big believer in the credit crunch, but it does seem to be affecting everyone now and one good thing is that i think its going to effectively put a top to ticket touting, people just don't have the money to waste anymore.

I carnt see Reading and Leeds Selling out in a few days like it has done in the last few years, I think you would probably be able to get some tickets at the end of the week.

V did sell out last year, it never really does, V just claims their tickets are sold out yet keep bringing them back on sale every other week. I got my V tickets in August

Im not affected by the credit crunch. Im a student, only affect i have is that clothes are now cheaper.

Neither are my parents, one of whom works as a nurse in social services and the other is a policeman. One thing you can guarentee in an economic crisis is that crime is going up and more people are going into care.

Can you buy just say .. Saturday and Sunday tickets ? and if so .. how much would you think they would be ? and would it be cheaper to go for he whole weekend. Really want to see the arctics and kol you see !

I always get nervous round about this time, the whole what if I dont get a ticket thing lol anyone care to reassure me, I will be online on the monday and I have the cash now just gotta hope my keep refreshing works

last year I was there for aaaages and no luck, it took for a mate to get through and link me on msn, cheeky I know but hey I was desperate. I go every year no matter what the lineup, its just an experience and theres guaranteed to be at least some bands I want to see which is the most important thing

but you reckon £175 for a ticket all incl . . . to be fair thats not bad, yeah not as cheap as last year but not much more either :D
