The Strokes have just started recording their new album and are practising together again....

they keep getting mentioned but i really can't see it. they'll never have a new album by this year.

i'd say they're a lot more likely for next year. its wishful thinking this year imo.

Kings of Leon recorded 'Only by the Night' in Jan...and were playing some new material at festivals in the summer...

Could be the same situation with the Strokes Although...yeah I doubt it

I guess we all have our preferences....I will be very annoyed if I have to sit through the Kaiser Cheifs to get a good spot for the headliner...if the headliners any good...

I really want to see Crystal Castles..have never seen them before! Also, I'm praying on Fleet Foxes...and of course The Strokes (which i very much doubt is gonna happen...but one can dream)

i'm not so sure, CSS headlined the dance tent last year so if they played again it would have to be main stage, and Crystal Castles have also played the dance tent two years in a row, so if they played it would be nme. I can see them playing nme stage, i just don't know if they would play for a 3rd year in a row

The Strokes playing would make the festival for me.

I have read that they were getting back together in the studio in Feb - so playing a few festivals in July/August might not be an outrageous expectation...??
