Go as small as you're comfortable with. Had a 2 man a couple of years ago and it was an effing nightmare!!!! Had a 4 man dome last year, still too small for theiving toe rags to get in to comfortably, but big enough for a decent kip!!! "Wagon Circle" with your V Buds is a good idea!!!

There were loads of us camping together last year. We all had our own 2/3 man tents in a circle with a huge tent in the middle, which served as our communal area . . . it also housed our booze, food and stove.

We also had a tent with a chemical loo in it . . . which we called the wee tent . . . just for number 1s though! Anyone wanting number 2s had to go to the portaloos!!!!
