Im confused, I read somewhere that you can camp on the wednesday, be there early but have to pay an extra £10 and camp through to sunday, can someone explain the deal with what days you can camp there and cost? thanks

Wednesday is the Early Entry day and costs an extra £10

The normal weekend ticket allows you to camp from 8am Thursday through until 12.00pm (midday) Monday (though the later time is rarely enforced)

So if i wanted to camp from wednesday I would buy a weekend ticket nd pay an extra £10, where do I pay the extra £10 at reading or on web site??

You'd need to order an Early Pass, just like the ticket.

Or queue for an eternity on the day for an early entry..

Buy one up front, it will be a lot easer... You should be able to get them from See Tickets.

Buy early entries straight away. I made the monumental mistake last year of saying to the guy who was buying mine (I was working):

"Don't bother with the early entry, you'll be able to buy it in a couple of days when the mad rush dies down."

If it wasn't for the entrance by the river that would have TOTALLY ruined the Wednesday.
