i know its a bit of a silly question, but how much traffic will there be nearer to WP?

Is anyone else coming from North Wales?

plus, we are only being dropped off, not parking, do we still go to the car park?

Which day you going down ? Friday or Saturday ?

because id guess the friday is the busiest as the campers arrive but last year we rolled through the gates in a matter of 10mins.. i wouldnt worry about the queues. you sail through them unexpectedly

Danny, all depends on what time you roll up, get there at 10am and there'll be a fair queue forming down the A5 and around Tong Norton off the Motorway. Don't worry too much though, Friday once your on your in.

As for the drop off car park there is a separate drop off area to the main car parks, check it on the WP maps.

i go down to WP from north wales every year i wouldnt worry too much about the queus as long as your early you should miss them! The added bonus of bein dropped off is you get to go to a seperate drop off site where its not so busy and close to the wristband exchange so you can get sorted straight away! x

I would expect that if ur coming from North Wales, you'll be on the A5. Which is obviously the route everyone takes to Weston Park. I believe the drop off point is on the A5 too!

V are not opening on the Thursday this year. I would suggest if you can to get your lift to take you very early on Friday morning you can wait outside the gates till they let you in not a problem. We got to V for 9am on Thursday last year and we ended up parking down a lane with a load of other people and had a little party, was much fun!!

From previous experience, the queues on the A5 can get ridiculous and the later you leave it, the worse it will be.
