Cinema To Move To The Acoustic Field?

I was reliably informed recently by someone who should know (honestly) that there were plans this year to run the cinema in the acoustic field. This would seem like a very radical change to the festival layout and the more I've thought about it the less feasible it seems. There was no info on where the Acoustic Stage would go but I suppose it would accomodate what I think is the desire to increase the size of the JP stage. Anyone else 'in the know' able to shed any more light on this rumour.

And before I go, at the risk of sounding like I've watched too many episodes of spooks, or like one of those gits who thinks they have more to do with the festival than they actually have (because I'm just a bog standard punter ) please don't ask where I got the info from, basically because it wasn't just 'pub talk' but came from somewhere trustworthy that did not want to be mentioned (ooohhh, how clandestine! ). I would be interested to know if there's a grain of truth!
