Taking the Car into the Caravan Field

Hello Folks,

Some of the lads I am going down with are taking a campervan and I am following them down in my car. I am pretty sure you are allowed to have a tent pitched with the campervan but my question is; will I be able to follow them(the campervan) into the caravan field in my car??? Or will I have to park elsewhere and carry all my gear to the caravan and camping field???

The car will def not be allowed in the campervan field but a tent pitched by the camper is fine

But as long as you park in the east car parks you will not have too far to walk to the cv fields

I remember back in 99/00 they did let cars with tents into the camper van fields.

I know because my mate who had a VW Camper van had a little moan about it , until he saw the

nice girls putting their tent up , then his moan was forgotten about.

Times have changed now , and I cannot see you getting away with it !

I'd check the rules in the FAQ, I was under the impression that you could park a single car with the camper, but that would eat into your 6' allowance for tents etc, so theoretically it's tents or car....

You are allowed to park your car next to your caravan as a caravan requires a tow vehicle. You will not get to park a car next to a campervan.

Without a caravan/campervan pass you will not even be allowed to drive into the campervan fields.
