grumpyhack
On another thread someone admittted of Toto: "I'd go and see them but not tell my friends." Are there bands that really you'd like to see or have seen that you've not admitted to? Time to confess your cheesy side.

grumpyhack
Now you've all been so honest I can add my own, having started this thread. I saw Shirley Bassey in at her peak in Cardiff at the old Capitol Theatre (now demolished and replaced with a shopping centre). Someone gave me a freebie complimentary and I sat in the second row of the circle (her extended family including her mum took up most of the front row). She was awesome and her stage presence was incredible. Non stop songs from one powerful gut wrencher straight into the next. She must have been physically and emotionally drained by the end. It wasn an unforgettable concert but it was at a time when SB was really cheesy and not one to boast about. She was only a shadow of her former self for her later years appearance at Glasto but that somehow made her acceptable.
Homer
Off the top of my head, over the years I've seen and enjoyed Starsailor, Keane and The Wombats at Glasto. I'd just like to point out that I only saw Travis because my mrs was going on her own, though, and they really were sh1t! You have to draw the line somewhere.... Also very partial to a bit of Burt Bacarach, though apparantly he's cool to like these days so no shame there anymore.
