Cool, I realised some of these had been bandied about - but why haven't they appeared with the magical red "C" on the lineup page yet? Seems if an Eavis confirms it, that should be good enough, right?

Neil mentioned this at the time. They only get a red C when the actual festival press people announce them, not eavis' or myspace announcements. They just get TBC

I confess...I've never heard of the "Doves".

I looked up their Wikipedia page. It starts with "Indie band", which is probably the best reason as to why I haven't heard of them!

Like I said to some people, I joined here because I've been living in the past. People come up to me at gigs or in the street and say "Hey have you heard of "x", what do you think of them. Are they playing at any festivals?" I just turn around and say "I have no idea who you're talking about".

But I decided to join up to a festival forum to find out more about this "indie" music and some of the bands that go with it.

I shall buy the Doves album now!
