the line up will keep this dire excuse of a festival going again this year shame about the way its laid out with the big bottleneck to get into the arena and the wanna be policeman but failed, stewards patrolling the entrance on the look for owt illeagle so you got to spend large ammounts of money inside.there is no festival atmosphere about. its a yuppy and clean cut show,having big name bands can assure yearly ticket sales spose the pile of shite needs it.how come you can take and do what you want to in the camping part but then sraighten yourselves up wen you go into the arena after feeling intimidated by the stewards on the way in????go and see for yourselves it compares to no other festival.your better off in the woods outside having a laugh all weekend nobody stops you doing that and the musics loud.

Site lay out is bobbins and needs to move imo.

The heavy policing is down to the IoWCC. Im almost certain that if the festival didnt bring in as much money as it does the festival would be closed down.

I always have a good weekend so cant complain really.

If you don't like it don't bother going. True the bottlenecks going in and out are a pain, but intimidated by the stewards? Seriously? The attraction of this festival is the big name bands, thats why people buy the tickets. The atmosphere's great and much better than V and Oxegen to name two other large fests.

The two times I've been I have thoroughly enjoyed it. For a big commercial jobby it has a lot going for it and the atmosphere is really good.

Or you can go to Glasto and avoid the whole arena thing completely. Biggest fesitval in Europe - manages perfectly well allowing people to go where they please with what they please.
