Ideas on where to go..

Hi :)

Ive been to Glastonbury a few times but have been mainly hanging around the main stage, other stage, John Peel, Leftfield etc.

Last year we got there early and really tried to explore, we loved the greenfields, trash city and seeing a lot more than we would usualy see. I'm a fan of the headliners but I'm hoping to see some more sites this year (i know its not possible to see it all in one week but the more ideas the better), can you lend me your ideas on what you like to do other than hanging around the main places so that we can get something else out of our experience. Are there any places you've only discovered in the last few years that you would recommend?

Im hoping that your ideas will be borrowed by others that read this post too.

Wishing you all a happy and joyous Glastonbury 09'

Phil.

Acoustic Field for a real ale and a few sets

Cabaret Tent for a sit down and a giggle and some comedian/show

Avalon Stage for some wonderful hidden artists

Shangri La for some wacky site stuff

Bimble Inn for a late night cider and dance

Trash City for some late night techno dance action

Greenfields for lovely cooked veggie breakie

i love these threads as they can be a great way to get heads up on cool areas of the fest you've never been before but IME i love to just wonder the whole south of the site until i find something i can get into

(nb i'm really not trying to piss on this threads bonfire, as i said i love reading this kind of thing but were such a varied bunch at glasto so just remember to take everyones recommendation as a potential rather than a must)
