I agree with KOL. Although they'll pack the place full of idiots who just like Sex on Fire and Use Somebody.

On the other hand, Radiohead will attract my kind of people, so the balance should be quite equal.

I think they'll all be pretty equal. It's how much of a draw the other stages headliners are that'll make the difference.

Id like to say radiohead, but i know that wont happen,

arctic monkeys and KOL will draw the same size stupidly large crowd, im hoping something good in the lock up at the same time, i cant stand AM at all, and KOL were pretty average in 2007, radiohead would be phenomenal, im hoping theyre the third headliner!

KoL will probably get the biggest crowd, because there'll be fans of both their older stuff and their latest album.

Radiohead will be able to sell day tickets on their own though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get a pretty big crowd.

All will be huge, won't have any small crowds like Smashing Pumpkins or the Pixies.

I'd say Radiohead, KOL and Arctic Roll have played Reading/Leeds in recent years whereas Radiohead are a bit of an unknown quantity to some. I've never seen them live and I'm not a huge fan but I probably would go see them out of curiosity.

Surely Radiohead are the biggest draw as they have a bigger more established fanbase and haven't played any UK gigs this year.

KOL have lot's of gigs lined up.

That said Radiohead aren't a typical Reading/Leeds band and a lot of their fairweather fans might be put off by an incorrect perception of what the festival is like.

That said many Radiohead fans would crawl over crushed glass to see them.

Whatever - I think the demand for tickets will be massive.

People who haven't seen them will want to see what all the fuss is about.

Arctic Monkeys are no bigger a draw than they were in 2006, and there was hardly a mass exodus for Muse.

I didn't dignify KoL in my original post, I can't take the idea that they're the biggest draw seriously.

Knowing the demographic of Reading, the biggest crowd will be for KOL. Nobody seems to have a real dislike for them unlike the other two (apart from me, I think they suck). So yeah, biggest crowd - smallest crowd:

Radiohead all the way. KOL close 2nd, altho by August i think most fans will be getting bored of them. I am sure Radio One play a KOL song every 3rd song, its getting a bit overkill if you know what I mean....
