The Nal
Madness defo. Cant find fault with the Zep at all, apart from the last 2 drugged up albums. Kashmir is amazing though. End of.

ThomThomDrum
No way on the Madness!! They iritate me quite a lot TBH.......... Flaming Lips to me is a good shout but they have already got their first negative post so......... How about the Stone Roses if they were to reform? Is there people out there who are very happy that they are split and pray for it to stay that way? Hows about the Welsh Wizards.......Super Furry Animals.........Not the greatest band in the world but have some great tunes and are quite fun............Anyones skin boils at the mention of them? ralph250
stone roses incredibly overrated...some great tunes no doubt, but never the second coming....which wasn't brilliant bar "love spreads". my vote...rodrigo y gabriela
Monkismo
never liked madness. They just reminds me of "wacky" dancing and crap lyrics. The band I offer is...the flaming lips. I defy anyone to dislike such a euphoric band!

sifi
I'd say Stevie Wonder. Can anyone seriously not like Sir Duke and Superstition?

sifi
thats a fine shout although may i present for the prosecution....... 1 - i just called to say i love you and most damningly 2 - that horrible re-working of signed, sealed with BLUE i love him, but those are 2 pretty big cons up against a lot of pros!! staggerlee
James Brown in his prime is surely a contender. Saw him in 2004 though and I thought he was a little bit crap. It seemed half his set was some random chap dancing and introducing James. RIP and all that.
pineapple-tea
Can't say I'm a fan of Madness, OR the specials (Expect for Ghost town). Rolf is a pretty good call. How about The Prodigy? I don't know many people that don't like them.
daveinafield
the Prodigy are ok and , as the OP i dont actualy like them but can see they are very good at what they do...which is what im trying to get at with this thread.....would not mind them getting knocked out tho so can someone really paste them lol
Ed209
Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't like Madness. In fact I can't stand Ska at all and anyone who skanks anywhere near me I take an instant dislike to.

b26354
in these threads, especially this year there seems to be great animosity towards some acts. personally i dont see the point of ripping an artist or their fans apart (unless there is completely no talent there). acts that seem to be victims from time to time are Springsteen, Young, The Beatles, Jay Z, U2, Radiohead even to mention but a few. The divison is greater because to a lot of people these acts mean a great deal personally which is a red rag to a bull to people who either dont care, like the sound of their own voice/type or just like to fan flames. so i thought lets find out the most popular act on the board. I nominate a few to begin with if you feel the need to voice your dissapproval then that band are out, the winners are the band that last longest without a negative comment.....or something, so the ultimate most popular band on here would be... ....Elbow? Doves? Faithless? please feel free to praise or pulverise
suchacharmer
The Beatles???Are there people out there who actually dislike the Beatles???I'm actually gobsmacked.Think it was Jack White who said that if you don't like the Beatles you don't like music.Have to agree with him. b26354
I'd agree, but I have found people who claim to dislike The Beatles. I personally think they are in denial and just trying to be contrary, but people are strange.
