Pinhead
"once you are on site everything is free and accessible" Oooo, that's not quite true. Even as far back as 2000, LV were charging £3 for costume hire which was a prerequisite of entrance into the Casino. Later (2002/3?), they also charged a few quid to go into that 'Freak Show' tent full of medical anomalies in Formaldehyde that was set-up near what is now that big open fire circle with sofas just down from Strummerville. In 2007 I remember being charged a couple of quid for entrance into one of the 'clubs' at that recreation of a sleazy New York alleyway bar (yes, the one that handed out the moustaches as you went in . . . I was drunk!).
crashnburn
I thought Sams answers were mostly good but I really do have aproblem withthe choice of ales and i cannot see why they cannot have a local ale in EVERY BAR. Sams answer did not make it clear either. Love the more seats, and the kittens but I dont think the kittens would be either practical or a safe thing to do,nor the Duck, as for the Mono rail,I had no trouble with it last year at all. pezzypops
I though they did have a local bitter at every bar? I didn't find one without (Idid find people who didn't know what bitter / ale was) Although i mainly stayed away from the pyramid I thought the choice of ale was a massive improvement from 1998
