Are there any big artists yet to be announced?

I know we don't know the answer to this one, but I was wondering whether there were any major bands missing from the initial announcements in the past few years, and then revealed a little bit later?

well the second headliner for the arena has yet to be announced afaik. (the first being MGMT) They should be a pretty big name one would assume.

hmm the V lines up not exactly shit, i mean it depends if your into more serious rock, which if you are you should probably be at r/l rather than V which is renown for getting more commercial soundings bands! but i do agree that the lineup needs a few, not many, but a few more big names before we can truly say "Wow whata lineup"

Who cares about how big the bands are? I don't care for names, its about enjoying yourself not gaining points with your friends, "I've seen xxxx" .

Listen to a crowd singalong to "Creep" then compare that to a crowd singalong of "Don't Look Back in Anger". Enough said! Anyway, I'm willing to bet that more people in the world know the words to Don't Look Back in Anger than they do their national anthems. In the UK at least.

Oasis aren't the best band in the world, no, but they are probably the biggest active band or at least were the biggest at the time when they were selling out knebworth.. so to be fair, thats something that shows they aren't shite.. okay maybe you don't personally like them so you aren't that chuffed that they're playing at V, but you can't say they are nowhere near being the biggest active band in the world at the moment. And like you said Gaaz, come back when you or your favourite band sells out knebworth and becomes the biggest band in the world..

lol true, I've seen Oasis 7 times. Also doing 2 of the Heaton park gigs.

And thats a list of bands I'm going to see.
