port
07 was worse for me, so much that I didn't attend last year, at least it stopped raining in 05, but 07 was relentless and not enjoyable at all, nowhere to sit and a mission to get anywhere and then uncomfortable when we got there. . remember my mate giving me pelters on the way because I had 4 sets of waterproofs with me. but its not going to rain this year so no worries..........I predict a heatwave.....and brother's running dry..........yeehah
Superscally
On the 05 Thursday I was absolutely ballooned on ale and shrooms and had just got back from the greatest bimble ever at about 4am to get the first drops of rain on the gazebo roof. As everything moves uber slow on shrooms, I apparently spent the next four weeks in my tent listening to unrelenting rain, so when I got up (five hours later) I was quite amused by the sight from the top of the nice hill I was on. 2007 on the other hand was just miserable. Watching Arcade Fire, the band I'd come for, my brain just about able to recognise it was brilliant, but being completely not arsed and wanting to go to bed. howlin_pete
07 was my first and it was a struggle. It left enough of an impression on me to come back the next year, but I remember being at Reading later that summer thinking how much easier it was in comparison! Last year was so amazing though it more than made up for it- I was even out all night at Trash City during the only downpour of the weekend! hayleycurran1704
I lost absolutely everything in 2005! me and my brother went on our own, met up woth some friends, and I ended up meeting my now boyfriend at brothers bar, went back to his tent on the thurs night-and woke up the next day to massive floooding and my brother ringing me to tell me our tent was submerged in a few foot of water! I literally had a denim skirt and a strapless top on with flip flops and that was it! and i couldnt get any of my stuff back! I remember standing on the top by where the tent was (at the bottom of pennard hill) and crying! The people my boyfriend were camped with though all pulled together and found me some clothes to wear-one girl even gave me a pair of pants!! I didnt have any make up, a hairbrush or even a toothbrush! we had an amazing time though!!

Block
In 2005 we were camped in the field that is in front of the Other stage it was the first one you came to after PGD before they moved the gate and the other side of the railway to Pennards. We went to bed as the first few drops of rain came. I hadn't brought an air bed or pillows so I was just in my sleeping bag using my big back pack with all my clothes in as a pillow. I woke up about 6 with a river running under our tent and everything that was touching the floor soaked! The only thing that was dry was the shorts and t shirt I was sleeping in and ended up wearing until I got home Monday evening. The tent was prctically floating and everytime we moved more water came in. I was ready to go home, but my mate managed to convince me to go to the Crown and got a couple of beers down me so I couldn't drive. By the time we got back to the tents that night they were slightly drier and we ended up having a fantastic weekend! I went in 07 as well and had a ball. Took a bigger tent (with bed and pillows!) and wasn't to bothered by the rain.
