The other two bands you mentioned are überfresh for example. I know every word to the J5 EP off by heart. It's flawless.

I gotta side with Oasis as well. The guys got me into the music I listen to now, inspired me to pick up a guitar and form a band, have given me some of the best nights and days of my life and have only ever given me pleasure regardless of a couple of dodgy albums when Noel gave up coke and then decided to produce the records. I don't mind people disliking them as long as they give a valid original reason other than "they sound like the Beatles", "all the songs sound the same" and my favourite of all "Liam and Noel are dickheads". The buzz I get from watching them live, cranking up their music until my car speakers are on the verge of blowing and seeing what Noel says next to offend the easily offendable is and always will be unrivalled. Not bad for a "tribute act"

"Lady Don't Tek No" is another quality slice of freshness. Those boys were pure class.
