the only info we have been able to get regarding the number of tickets available in next Sunday's sale is "several thousand" .....

We asked "is that less than 5 thousand?" and got told "all we can say is several thousand".

We asked "is that more than 5 thousand and less than ten thousand?" and got told "all we can say is several thousand".

We asked "is that more than 10 thousand and less than 20 thousand?" and got told "all we can say is several thousand".

So it appears that there's only "several thousand" tickets to be sold on Sunday.

there will be loads on sale and be fairly easy to get tickets if you persist. They say several thousand so they can put as many as they want on. I think there will be a series of small batches back onsale.I could be wrong but we shall see

mike99 - the oracle of every wrong prediction. :D;) .... the man who said the sale in early feb would go on for days or weeks and not the few hours that it was, and the man who said he could get locals tickets yet remains ticketless, etc, etc, etc. :D

So you are telling me when mikey eavis says tickets are all sold out and there will deffo be no more tickets, more tickets have never been made avaliable. We both know not to trust what eavis says and also i live in hope for my ticket.Dont take away the hope

there might be odd occasions after the sunday sale and before the fest when a very small number of tickets become available as has happened previously, tho there might not be either - just because some tickets might be sent back for refund before the refund date doesn't necessarily mean they'll be made available to the public to buy.

There are a variety of different circumstances which will dictate what tickets become available and when (if at all). Just because something has happened previously doesn't mean that the same will happen this year.

That might be taking away your hope, but facts is facts. ;)

It's difficult to say for sure. If there's plenty of spares after the cancellation date (early May), and no other outlet, then very likely. If it's a small number, they may just be 'absorbed' (no specific purpose, end up as increased guest/crew/carer/etc etc resource).

We have had multiple resales in the past (2007 I think?).

late edit to add:

Whatever the speculation, I strongly recommend that anyone wanting tickets treats this resale as "full mission". There's nothing at present to suggest it won't be anything other than a typical (contemporary) Glastonbury year, i.e. well oversubscribed.

Hey guys, I stupidly forgot to register before the last resale. I am now registered and just wondering the odds of there being tickets after the next refund deadline. If I can get tickets it will be my first glastonbury as I have been to reading for the last 4 years. But with the line up not to my taste at reading this year, and having the chance to see michael jackson at the same time as reading I was hoping to go to glastonbury instead. Any help would be very much appreciated! x
