I bought my ticket for Glastonbury back in October but have now decided against going as i am also going to T in the park and can't afford to do both (you may be thinking i'm mad but im from Scotland and T in the park is much closer/convenient for me) can i still get a refund for glasto? By the way, i did take the £3.60 or whatever amount it was insurance out.

You are on the verge of making a seriously WRONG decision. Don't do it !!

As others have said you will only regret it !

You are fortunate and have a ticket - many people are cursing that they don't.

Be brave and come to Glasto and see for yourself why everyone rates it so highly!

i will go against the grain (nothing unusual there).

Get a refund.

It's your choice, and thats cool. you wont regret it.

Life is for living how you want to live, not for following other people like a sheep.

Have fun at TITP.

I've now got a problem - or at least a mate who is part of our Glasto Gang has got a problem. He's just recieved an invite to the wedding of his oldest friend - they go back to primary school days - and not going isn't an option.

Sadly the bride and groom, with gross thoughtlessness, have picked the Glasto weekend for their wedding.

So my mate is facing the prospect of having to go for a refund.

THE QUESTION IS THIS:

I have another friend who has't got a ticket and who'd like to go. What do you think the chances are of passing on the ticket? Gareth has dark hair is Welsh, the other guy has blond hair and is Danish. Gareth is 5'10" the other guy is 6'4" (though that won't show in the passport photo).

Does anyone have experience of passing on tickets? I'm not talking about touting just one mate who now can't go giving his ticket to a friend who'd like to.

Not been on here for aaages buuuuut, yep, i got a refund. Roll on T! :O Basically because all of my mates are going there. Will definitely be going to glasto next year though! T is a complete rip off nowadays and the whole atmosphere (and better line-up) that glastonbury has to offer makes it much more appealing.
