idlewild are a frankly brilliant addition.

i went to see the airborne toxic event in feb in derby, and any act where half the band climb the pa, swing from the roof, and invite the audience back to their hotel for whiskey are probably safe to put on an ace show.

for anyone who doesnt realise. the easy all stars are the guys who do reggae / dub versions of radiohead and beatles tracks.

i nearly went to see them again at cov colosseum the other week, but finances prevented me.

i discovered airborne toxic event in hawaii at xmas. they were all over the radio there. and were ace when i saw them in derby. mrs black seems to adore them.

It's the announcements people look forward to, isn't it? Not the festival at all, just the build-up.

That's about it, isn't it? Apart from the other DiS stage acts and the Musician tent. And the comedy stage, I suppose.

Dananananaykroyd is pronounced, erm, as it's spelt. They're a properly amazing live band, although I understand they don't do the Wall Of Cuddles any more. (Don't ask)

These announcements have made me a very very happy man.

IDLEWILD is fabulous news - better than I ever imagined.

Airbourne Toxic Event - amazing.

Fantastic additions Summer Sundae Team - good to have some great really upbeat bands playing.

Still room for a few classics yet though i am sure.

A) the rifles?

the Rumblestrips?

C) the caesars (aka caesars palace)

D) Puressence

E) My Vitriol

F)...Shed Seven! (now reformed!)

Any of those on top of the great line-up already would make my year...honestly IT WOULD.
