Kaybee
Saw the Beat at Shambala last year and they were very, very good. Ranking Roger still puts on quite a show and part of the charm of the act now is that his son takes lead vocal responsibilities for part of the show... It's quite a modern sound they have!!! little car
Horace Andy & Ashley Beedle have pulled out according to Twitter and been replaced by The Beat. (Two original members! And one of those is the drummer!) And just spotted eFests has announced the comedy stage: http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/09/090610g.shtml
andyblack
sadly, the success of the fine young cannibals means messers cox and steele will never need to return to the beat. but a very very good festival band they remain. i'm actually really looking forward to seeing her name is calla on a larger stage. seantizz
Aha - Bombay Bicycle Club eh... I've just been listening to their album and it's solid and potentially a grower.. I did wonder about them when I saw them being advertised on the telly the other day!!!! There's certainly a bit of a push about them. gregory
obviously no where near as big as noisettes, but good none the less.
JakeBoz
Bombay is fantastic news! I saw them support Maximo Park a couple of weeks back and they were very good live. It's a shame when they performed in PowerPlay in Leicester the other day it was acoustic, vocals weren't quite strong enough. Look forward to them though, the album is great.
