What are you hoping to repeat / avoid from previous years?

This year my glasto will be an even better experience thanks to the fact I finally found the Welsh Oggie stall, cheap and shareable lol. So i'l be missing out on quite a few food stalls.

Fave moments of last year

  • being extremely drunk by 3pm wednesday and lying in the jazz field drinking yummy brothers cider!

  • Spending Sunday in the Circus Field

  • Skittles Vodka (need i say more)

All of which will be being repeated.

Things im hoping to avoid this time are :

  • trying to find friends coming from the car park, in the rain, and having to carry things for them despite the fact we brought their tents AND beer! We're taking their tents again so we'll have to see.

  • Hoping to avoid it being a couple fest this year. Yeah we do all go in couples, but for some reason some of the others have become surgically attached lol :)

  • Must remember to wrap tobacco/ cigs up better as last year they got wet

  • Must avoid using a golf bag holder to lug EVERYTHING

I will also be repeating last years bed set up involving a couple of sleeeping bags on the floor and a quilt and pillows on top - toastie!

xxx

i remember being disapointed last year because we took all our own food and for 4 days i was looking forward to trying the 1 food stall that seemed to sell something different to the rest, there was a little white shop that sold kangaroo, ostrich and crocodile burgers. decided on sunday afternoon that i was gonna sample one or two, then having a vague memory of where the stall was i remember trudging round endless paths thinking "im sure it was up this one".

after about 90 minutes of striding round i found the stall, bought my burger, ostrich, and being totally let down, it tasted ok, was gone in about 4 bites, and for £5 was a rip off !

needless to say i wont be doing the same this year !

I am lucky in so much that it tends to be my birthday on or around the festival. Last year my birthday fell on the Sunday, and as such I treated myself - as I always do on my birthday - to the Jerk Chicken dinner with sweetcorn from the Jerk Chicken place just by the Jazz Stage. I tend to have this early afternoon with a pint of brothers whilst listening to some mellowness floating across that field.

Do it every year. It's tradition / religion!
