Nah, I'm messing. But I wouldn't want to eat one on the go, proper sit down and watch what you're spilling type affair.

There's a great dhosa stall in our market on a Saturday, does them in the little cardboard open box/plate type jobbies.  Not really an eat & walk I agree, but you can manage them without spilling it everywhere.  Banging so they are :)

Not incredibly exciting but I love the chunky chips with dips stall with curry sauce after a load of ale. Plus they had 1 right by the hill up to Michael's Mead so was an easy pit stop on my way to or from my tent. Also had some brilliant noodles by the Other stage and a pizza by the Kasbah on the Sunday which was superb!

Obviously some stalls are much better than others but I've been really impressed with the food offerings both times I've been, certainly haven't starved. In fact it sometimes takes a while to decide where to eat as there is so much on offer!

I have that problem also. As meals at Glastonbury are limited to about 2/3 a day, I want every one of them to be something amazing. I'm often still looking for my perfect food long after my group have eaten.

Problem is I'm not that particular with the bars so I end up drinking without eating and it usually ends up messy.

Amateur :P

If I have the choice between an extra meal or a couple of beers, the food wins every time.  My capacity to eat over the course of the fest is a constant source of amusement/amazement to my compadres.

Sadly the Dorset Blue Cheese company will not be there this year - don't think they were there last year either.

On the plus side The Cheese Truck has confirmed they'll be back this year.

Do you like cheese by any chance?

I'm currently on a massive Georgian food binge (i say, currently, it's been going on for the last decade). Business opportunity there for festivals, Hachipuri and hinkali. Absolute goer.

You beat the Guardian on the hipster front by a couple of hours.

Down the bottom.

Hehehe. Fuck me sideways, I'm the hipsters hipster. I'm deeply ashamed now, but Its the only decent food in this city. Fortunately there's loads and loads of top quality Georgian places around, home delivery, takeaway etc.

I've not only dined on Georgian food somewhere on the Arbat but I've dug into the jackfruit sub at Paradise Palms.  Come at me!

Christ I'm an idiot.  When you first said Georgian food I genuinely thought hipster restaurants had started serving food from the 18th century. I worry about myself, I honestly do.

Do you say 'pengvin' at the end of every sentence pengvin?

Mate I was going to say the same, I was picturing the recent Heston programme where he did popular Victorian foods (but imagining Georgian, obviously).

No worries, I'll step up and take the hit for the stoopid team.

In our defence it's only a matter of time before some twat on a penny farthing comes up with that as an idea. And @Mardy is a known hipster so it's entirely possible he'd eat there
