Totally agree. Thing is...I think it would still sell out even if they dropped the pop crap...and the majority of people that go on a regular basis would be happier. And I know its down to personal taste etc etc but do you really want to go to a festival that would chose having Girls Aloud over somebody like Nick Cave or whatever??

No it means you have reasonably good taste in music mate, if you like 60s rock then check out some blues artists like BB King and T-Bone Walker as these inspired all the 60s rockers.

I think what the guy was getting at was he wishes he'd experience the peak powers of the 90s when Oasis, The Verve, James and Blur were at the height of their musical prowess, yes it he didn't live through it but I love to watch the old rock festival films even though Hendrix was dead before I came along (and my dad either had an accident or made his worst planning decision ever - he had to sell his Triumph!).
