could easily be Wango's.

Scouse originally owned the Wango stage and then sold it to Dave and Lou. it subsequently burnt down. since then Scouse has an all new posh Wangos stage up and running.

or could it be a reappearance of Circus Normal????????????/

Really!! A new Wango stage, wheres it based?

I'm sure it won't be a wangos stage .... I'm pretty sure that the name was sold or transferred to the now commercial Wangos, who do stage hire but not stage programming I believe.

Hmmmm... Continental Drifts perhaps?

they're already there - they do the music and more in Shangri-La, just as they did the music and more for Lost Vagueness.

Oooh...I hope it's a stage on the drop down ramp of a horse-box, with loads of lads in dreads & paraboots........

(I'm an old bird, I'm allowed to dream!)

Thanks for that...I need a cold shower now! :P:lol:

Here's a thought...Underworld perhaps? Didnt they put on some epic soundsystem in the car park back in 92 or something?

PLUS...could this be the sneaky way a certain Messrs P & P Hartnoll sneak in thru the back door all grovelling like with a secret DJ set at least? I can but dream eh?

I'd be very surprised if it was Exodus -- basically the whole collective imploded with some very ugly internal dissent/falling out between members, following their last free festival (and the only legally licensed and above board one) of 2000, by J13 of the M1. I was there and it was grand :O , but there were big disputes over money and drugs ....

Could it be that the experimental music field makes a return.

My god! That was incredible to behold. In fact, that whole year (92?)was just brilliant.

Glorious weather; Campiing in the Tipi field; A line up rich in electronica; the burning of the wicker man; and the raw paganistic, anarchy of the fire field.

That was my 8th Glastonbury, but it felt like the first (and to some extents the last! )

I went to a few Exodus dos. Not sure if I went to the 2000 one; I went to one in that location, but it certainly didn't look legal! It won't be them. They were much more than a soundsystem and even created housing, jobs etc. for homeless people. The best thing to ever happen in Luton by a long chalk.

Luton. What a toilet!
