Pipine
I heard somewhere DiY were having their own little stage or something.. Smokescreen say.... "We are playing in the Bassline circus on Friday night in europes biggest geodesic dome. Then on Sunday we playing in the Igloo 360 degree projection tent. Both sited in the Shagrila field." I will be tracking them both down, hopefully bumping into a few familiar faces :-)

Goblinz
Surely we can have a few details at this stage.... less than a week to go. Are we talkin DJ's or live bands, any ideas on the area?
eFestivals
well, now they've revealed it themselves ..... My original "soundsystem of old" comment was me repeating what Subgiant told me when I asked them where they were playing - that's all they told me. Later on I wangled out of them what they were on about, on the promise that I wouldn't reveal what they told me - and what they told me was Joe Bananas, and their new silent disco. From Subgiant's own emailing to their list members, they're the only live act that's playing Joe Bananas silent disco, but Greg Dread from Dreadzone told eFestivals in a recent interview (not yet published) that he's DJing in there somewhen (he wasn't sure when). We don't currently know who else is playing there. If you don't know Subgiant but love dubby dance music, they're the bizniz. Check them out. This is what Subgiant said in their mailing.... Mindnight - Friday, 26th June, Joe Bananas Stage The Joe Bananas sound system was legendary in it's day at Glastonbury, so much so that it got a little out of control and Eavis put a stop to it, but this year it's back at Eavis's own request. Featuring a stella line up of Dj's rumoured to include Danny Howells, Freq Nasty, Hybrid Djs, Eat Static Djs and many more. But there will only be one live act on this stage and that's us. And yes this is a silent disco stage. Now we were a little dubious about the silent disco/live band concept, but we had a chance to do a full rehearsal with the actuall system that we will be using at Glastonbury this year and well... "don't nock it till you've tried it" - the sound is amazing, it's crisp it's punchy and you realy feel embedded in the sound of Subgiant wearing those headphones, we were won over in minutes! See you in the fields Subgiant
