What are the chances of getting a ticket

When they sell the remaining few in a couple of weeks time? Didnt think we would would be able to go up untill recently. Will be gutted if I cant get tickets.

I think it's the 5th April that the rest go on sale, but I don;t think that there are going to be that many to be honest? I have heard between 5 and 10 thousand - not sure how true that is though!

I think that's wildly optimistic - especially the idea that tickets were withdrawn from sale to help ticket sales.

Cynical maybe. Wildly optimistic? Nah. The sell out wasn't announced that long ago though was it? So it's not as if they would have potentially been withdrawn for long. I'm not suggested this is what I think has happend, but like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if it somehow came out.

One other thing, If I where to get tickets and then a camper van bacame available to me, would I need a different ticket all together or just a supplimentary camper van ticket?

Definitely try. All the usual tactics. Get as many mates trying as possible. Swap registration and payment details in advance, so if one gets through, they can do as many tickets as possible in one go. See if someone will volunteer to try the phone route too.

think you would need a separate camper van ticket, and its very true that the sell out couldn't be announced until balance deadline day, there were fairly confident noises coming out of gfl in the weeks leading up to that date though

Also worth knowing that there is a poposal lodged with the council to expand campervan capacity. If that happens, expect more of those add-on tickets to be released. I'm not sure when the decision will be made, but public consultation ends any day now, so keep your eyes open for news about that over the next month.

me and the missus will be trying to get one for her so fingers crossed there will be a decent amount going!
