Personally I think Oasis are "bigger" than Radiohead (the latter are a million times the live band though and hardly tiny), and that Blur are the most impressive in the "I can't believe that band is playing!" sense (again, I'd go for Radiohead personally). On the basis that I dislike most of the other acts I would reluctantly go Reading.

I would also add that this isn't a true comparison with Download in the list. There are a lot of Reading goers to whom none of the other festivals would appeal whoever played. But to them, however mediocre Download's lineup is, that'll get the vote.

I'm only going for the radiohead day, but i don't mind the other two, just i'm stingy with money this year. I'd have gone to glasto, but i missed out on tickets. By far the best 3 headliners in Neil Young, Blur and The Boss, though radiohead are my favorite band and i'm going to hard rock calling, so i'm only missing out on blur really... oh well!

Not that fussed on any of them tbh. I'm not accussing anyone on here and KOL have had big crowds in the past, but so many people have jumped on the bandwagon since the last couple of singles have come out and now they are some sort of awesome legendary band who everyone claims to like. ;)

Arctic Monkeys are alright but over-rated imo, and unfortunately I've never been a big fan of Radiohead although they were alright when I seen them in V a couple of years ago (I watched them as no one else decent was on).

I intend going this year as we're only talking about 3 bands - plenty of others to see which is what I'll be doing.

reading clearly has the best one overall (if only they had slipknot)

for a mix though i would have to go for:

Friday

Arctic monkeys

Kings of Leon

Saturday

Slipknot

the prodigy

Sunday

Radiohead

that would be one killer line up ;)
