I'm not that impressed by the acts lower down Sonisphere myself. I much prefer the stuff lower down at Download.

But Trivium will probably take one of the A7X/BFMV slots next year, they'll probably have a few more such acts that are at Download this year, hopefully rounded out by acts like Nightwish.

There's certainly plenty of heavier bands to choose from, but remember, they're billing themselves as a rock festival rather than a metal festival. They've got Primal Scream on the Linkin Park day so they're really not that restricted.

To be fair Primal Scream played on the heavy day at Leeds 2003 so they've had experience sharing a stage with Metal bands.

Which reminds me, do you reckon Bobby and Mani will be opening their gobs a lot at Sonisphere? Apparently they made a few unsavoury comments about Metallica at Leeds 03.

tool are definatley getting back, to all those people that say this is an aprils fools. they've been confirmed for the mile high festival.

i would LOVE tool to play. doubt it though.
