reni
If it were Muse, who would be relegated to second headliner spot?? Muse would blow all three "headliners" to smithereens. Do you ever get co-headliners???
strudders
Now now Reni..... I would be impressed if they where the 4th Headliner and also be quite surprised as they could hold a slot on their own. So if they do the Pyramid will be carnage for 5 hours...... LOL (see pee pole)

daveinafield
Now I will not doubt you crying! but there are a lot who will same for Neil, The Bruce baby and the Boys from Essex.... However I would be over the moon if Muse played as I love them. and beside, Nights of cydonia is the only track on Guitar Hero I can stand up and run around like a loon to and still finish in the 90's..... pissed of course. Kyelo
Muse are ok - saw them in 99 on the other stage...may get round to seeing them again unintended is still my fave but not in the league of Young or Springsteen - sorry Edited March 28, 2009 by BenchBuddah
daveinafield
That'll be because they are different sports altogether, you can't compare. To say Muse are better than Springsteen/Young is equally as valid as saying Springsteen/Young are better than Muse. I find Springsteen ok and Young very dull yet think Muse are one of the best British bands in years. Can't remember where I saw it but in an interview with Iron Maiden, the bassist Stephen Harris said one of the only bands that could hold their own when compared to the stadium rock acts of the 60s/70s/80s would be Muse whos music he sees as 'stadium rock'. That's not a bad compliment.

Mr Ploppy
Now dont flame me if I have any facts wrong - but a return to Glasto for Muse would be a sentimental moment would it not? If I remember correctly didn't the Father of the drummer sadly pass away after the Glasto gig? If my memory serves me as it should then a return to Glasto since this aweful happening would be very emotional. Not saying that is a reason not to play - nobody would like to see them again more than me... but just thought I would point out that it may open up an old wound which may prevent them from playing? Just checked it out on the net and R.I.P. Mr Howard.

Sam.
A film called Twilight, about Vampires, apparently uses a couple of Muse tracks. Very famous film series-to-be, on a par with Harry Potter in America. First one was released last year I think?
