There was a blog on NME.com recently about how modern pop culture is obsessed with nostalgia. I think the trend in re-unions has gone a bit too far, and it is obsurd for bands to claim they're not reforming for the money. You can't complain at getting to see bands like faith no more, Rage & My bloody valentine though.

I don't think a kyuss reformation would have much to do with nostalgia though, More to do with legacy, and getting the appreciation they deserved in the first place.
