The Reading Situation

hey peeps

im a latitude (a pretty relaxed festival) goer but due to the the appauling line up this im looking for another festival to go to and im liking the line up at reading this year.

i keep hearing about the ammount of abuse and rioting occuring at this festival. is it all that bad?

im not prepared to fork out 150 quids to end up having a bad time.

is it worth going to? otherwise im going to V fest :/

The only real problem is explosions, which to a large extent won't happen this year (or at least, it'll only be lighters, slightly better than entire gas canisters).

It's not so bad that you'd fear for your personal safety as such, just stay away from the huge fires, try and camp at least three or four tents away from the main path, and you'll have a great time.

To be honest, yes it can get really bad on a Sunday night, because, for some reason, everyone decides to turn into immature idiots.

However, it is ONLY the sunday night, every other moment of the weekend is fine, and a fantastic time. But you get dodgey times at every festival so!
