punkincowcat
Me and my partner are off to Glastonbury again this year (hooray!) but for the first time will be making the dreaded journey from Edinburgh on the coach I plan on travelling lightly but need to set out to buy the following items: Tent (preferably a tunnel type one with sleeping area and decent sized porch)Decent sleeping bag (I tend to feel the cold much more than other people)Accessories such as space blanket, ear plugs, eyemaskInflatable mat/Camp mat Im sure there are other things but I can't think of what they are right now  Basically what im asking for is any suggestions on reliable websites that I could order everything from in one go that isn't expensive.. or any places around Edinburgh? Thank you sooo much for any replies as they are greatly appreciated. Have a great one guys
Mr_Grump
An ideal place for you is Go Outdoors - either online or store (Coatbridge - which i believe is half way between Edinburgh & Glasgow) Have a look at their website Go Outdoors

barbienightmare
before you go doing the buying all from one place option ... consider your local freecycle group , that way you may well find some or even possibly most of what you need for absolutley £0 , leaving you with much more in your pocket. It is very simple too .. basically all you need to do is a yahoo acount of some sort to join your nearest freecycle group , as they use the yahoo groups, join the nearest ones, wait a day to be accepted by group mod (there is loads of areas now, even very small towns have a freecycle group I have 4 near me ) Then find some random item you are about to throw out and put an advert up offering it to anyone who wants it. Once you have placed the offered advert you can then place a Wanted advert, list the items you want...tent sleeping bag camping gear , anything you want really, you will be surprised how many people have things that are in perfect working order that they would rather let someone else get use from than throw it out or leave collecting dust. Loads of people use freecycle so its a really handy and well worth a try. the main site with all the info is HERE Edited March 27, 2009 by barbienightmare
