Obviously not gonna happen, but I'm still hoping for AM and KOL to co-headline

Would be awesome if they did co-headline. Kings headline reading and the arctics headline leeds, just swap places. That way we'd get another band that would hopefully be decent headlining.

For the 3rd headliner? Green day, muse, foo's, blink, iron maiden, pearl jam, prodigy, linkin park. Anyone like that, just to give some variation.

The ones in bold definatley couldn't have played for very specific reasons. Iron Maiden I am unsure about (but do we really need another dinosaur act headlining?) Prodigy are playing every other festival under the sun, so hardly variety (and for all we know they could still play) and Linken Park are just terrible.

In my opinion the orginizers have done the best with the bands available to them and the headliners beat just about every festival going this year.

Why cant people get in the real world, when you get as popular as arctic monkeys or kol you headline the festival. Both are more popular than either razorlight and franz ferdinand when they headlined. Bands that sell this many records cost a lot of money, why would the organisers book 2 headliner bands for one day, you do realise it is a business? Can anyone seriously name a band as popular as kol or arctic monkeys who have 2nd headlined the festival in recent years. Please dont mention nin who although are very good are not in the same league when it comes to uk record sales.

Maybe I didnt make clear that i meant uk popularity, as its a uk festival then i think that what a band does in america is pretty irrelevant. Arctic monkeys and kol are more popular than 50 cent and ratm were in either 2000 or present day. I think some people dont actually realise how many records am and kol have shifted in thsi country.

I know but they also said when announcing they were getting back together that they would be doing a european tour and festival over the summer, so I'm not giving up hope yet

So can you explain why blur and snow patrol are joint headliners at t in the park? Both equally as big or bigger than kol/arctics.
