Personally i'll be taking a pop up this year; can't be bothered with the toss that supermarkets sell for a tenner. Id rather have one i can reuse.

I think me and my mates are going to bring a fosters marquee.... all depending on effort though.

No marquees allowed yo! Might not be worth the hassle of bringing if it you are told to take it down, would suck a bit.

that a single skin don't want to risk getting soaked if it rains or all the condensation build up

i only posted it because the original post was about a 4 berth for 25. Cheap tents are out there, but as i said they aren't for me - because of the reasons you stated.

You pretty much want a double skin; unless sleep is the last thing on your mind!

i bought a pretty decent one following last year's Download... the one that served me oh so many years finally got left behing due to being generally f**ked and broken and filthy. so bought a pretty expensive 2/3 man one (with a decent sized porch bit and everything!) for Glastonbury, was about £60ish. but i've been going to festivals a long time and don't intend for that to change any time soon, so i'd rather invest in something that'll last! every year of going to festivals it seems strange seeing people leaving behind alright tents cos they think 'f**k it, it was only £20'. i'd rather buy a good one that'll last 5-10 years or whatever...

mind you, at Glastonbury, it was a c**t putting up a brand new tent in pitch black while already pretty wrecked from the journey down... definitely a trial run in the garden before Download!

I don't think Gazebo's are allowed either. They are of the thinking that you are taking up valuble tent room
