From memory, and probably outdated by now so don't take this as gospel -

Worthy Farm gets paid rental for the land, and ME takes a wage from the festival. Both of these are at below the accepted market rates..

After all expenses (including the above) are covered, large donations are made to the festival charities.

Any profit left over ends up in the hands of the shareholders. I don't know how much this is, but there was a rumour a few years ago that Mean Fiddler or whatever they were called at the time with their 40% stake received about £65,000.

Either way, it's not generally believed to be a huge figure in the context of the festival as a whole or the money given to the charities.
