Actually, this was a brilliant move… They announced a good line-up but that they knew that wouldn’t sell very well with last year’s prices.
People asked why tickets were not available when they announced the first 20 names, but now I understand. People were disappointed because it didn’t have big headliners, but we all had time do “absorb” the line-up. After that, they announce the cheapest price I could ever imagine and now people are only talking about it, saying things like “for this price, it’s actually a good line-up”.
If they announced the price at the same time of the line-up, social media wouldn’t be like they are today. People would certainly be talking about the line-up even with this price. Now, social media are filled with comments just about the price and people saying that with this price they probably are going.
The card is not very expensive and Last Tour is trying to conquer the audience’s fidelity. They also gained time to prepare the next edition and if the sales go well they will make a lot of money with bar and restaurant. I think they put a lot of thought into this.
