Car parking

Hey guys,

Not in the slightest bit new to Reading but never drove before - car parking tickets - whats the deal. I've already got my presale tickets so do I need to buy one tonight/tomorrow or can I turn up on the day and hand over some cash?

Also driving from North London so which car park would be best?

You can get one now or just pay a tenner when you turn up.

I think white carpark is good for you! I come from Wales and travel up on the M4, which I presume you will (but from the other direction), and use this one.

Would someone be so kind and answer a few questions regarding car parking.

Basically I need to park up and then get myself to the main road that runs along the festival (Richfield Av). What would be my best option?

Park in green and if I do how long are the queues for the boat if I arrive Thursday lunch time. Also how long does the boat take from green car park to the boat landing stage at Cow Lane.

I have heard there is a large Tesco’s near the green car park, is it likely there are taxis for hire, just in case the boat takes to long.

I was also considering the white car park and walking, what do you think.
