Alive and Kicking , Belfast Child and Don't You Forget About me are probably their most well known songs ,Promised You a Miracle , Waterfront , Love Song, Glittering Prixe and Someone Somewhere In Summertime are likely to be played too.

i've seen them 14 times now dating back to 1984, a great live band who used to fill Wembley Stadium.

Its likely simple minds will play a greatest hits set - the band have had been plugging away with albums and tours for the past decade and appear to have hit a creative peak and may play a track or 2 from their new album.

They are about to release Graffti Soul, their 16th album.

Its been a long time coming creatively, probably 20+ years overdue.

There is a press release video on simpleminds.com which is worth checking out especially if you like bands like KoL, Verve, etc. They have always been a cracking live band, with a thunderous expansive sound. ea

I've not been that enthused by there output since the 90's but the past decade they have been getting closer with each new album and some dynamite tracks to insert into their live stage canon.

However, on this new album, they have completely reinvented themselves - its probably their best body of work since 1984.

I don't know, the official tour starts in earnest around August, but there are festival dates being confirmed weekly all around europe for the Summer festivals June/July/August.

I was hoping they would be doing T in the Park - it's about bloody time

GLC will be good. Seen them before and very interesting. Pigeons is a great shout too.

Not too sure about the most recent additions though!
