Day Ticket and Parking

Hey,

Can you park at the festival if you have a day ticket?

and whats the best time to get there (as its a friday ticket - will there be big queues on the day?)

with a day ticket you cannot enter the campsite. (unless you go out of the arena.. at the end of the night.. otherwise you can't get back into the arena).

There is car parking available and according to the official website is included within price of the day ticket (how generous) Traffic is anybodys guess.. but don't think it will be too bad. If it concerns you get the bus from leeds train station.. means you can have a drink too!!

And as for times... bands start at 12ish so depends who you want to see.. I'd aim to get there for 12.. then spend the day drinking, if theres no bands on.. head to the comedy tent. if you want to see the first band.. aim to arrive at leeds bout 11.30.. shouldn't take long to get in.

i thought you enter the same place where everyone else does and walk through the campsite and go in to the arena?

when you get your ticket, a map will be included. you go directly into the arena through a different gate to the campers where they give you a wristband etc, but exit through the campers entrance/exit to the festival.

at least this was the case last year.

In terms of car parking they will use different car parks for the day ticket holders so you will be closer to the correct entrance. I would recommend using the shuttle bus though.
